Facilities And Fleet

Marcotran's facilities cover more than 30,000 square metres in Pedrola (Zaragoza) and include offices, warehouses and workshops as well as the 120,000 square metres of a vehicle park with security surveillance.

The company owns a fleet of vehicles that comprises 540 tractor heads equipped with GPS, GSM and GPRS; 650 mega trailers, 80 refrigerated trucks and 20 vans; 53 road trains, with an inside height of 3 metres and a capacity of 120 cubic metres; 12 light body-type vehicles for urgent national and international services; an intermodal transport fleet that comprises 70 container carriers, lowered for containers of up to 45'', 100 cubic metre swap bodies and its own 40-tonne machines for box handling.

The average age of the fleet is 3 years and all of the vehicles undergo maintenance and servicing in our own workshops. Marcotran has 110 self-employed truck drivers subcontracted on a permanent basis.
